Meet the Curator

Hello, I’m Elara.
I used to think a “perfect home” meant everything had to be tidy, matching, and pristine. But after too many years of rushing through life, I realized that what I really craved was texture, not perfection.
Smell After Rain is my personal collection of calm. It was born from my own search for quiet corners in a loud world. I spend my days hunting for fabrics that feel like a hug and styling spaces that invite you to pause.
When I’m not curating this shop, you can find me reorganizing my bookshelf (again) or waiting for it to rain so I have an excuse to stay in.
Thank you for letting us be a small part of your home.

There is a specific kind of peace that settles in after a heavy rain. The air feels cleaner, the world sounds quieter, and for a moment, everything slows down. That distinct, earthy scent—known as petrichor—is nature’s way of hitting the reset button.
That is the feeling we want you to have the moment you walk through your front door.
Smell After Rain isn’t just a home decor store. It is a reminder to exhale. In a world that constantly demands “more” and “faster,” we are here to help you create a sanctuary that whispers “slow down.”
